ASIA PRINT Established / Philippines Signed as a Charter Member
One
of the highlights of the recent China Print '09 was the official formation and
declaration of ASIA PRINT where the Philippines signed as a charter member.
ASIA PRINT is a
Federation of ASIA PRINT Exhibition, with objectives to
exchange ideas, to promote cooperation between members and
to support others in the process of organizing print
exhibition. The final aim of ASIA PRINT is to promote the
development of printing, printing equipment and printing
materials industries in member countries.

With the
official formation of ASIA PRINT and with the
Philippines as a founding Charter member, a substantial
increase in participation of foreign exhibitors is
expected in the forthcoming PRINT PHILIPPINES '09 in
September 2009.
ASIA PRINT
was formally established during the FORUM-PI 2009, one
of the highlights of China Print '09. It was held at the
historic Friendship Palace of Beijing Friendship Hotel.
The
Philippines is represented in the organization by the
Printing Industries Association of the Philippines (PIAP).
